My poor son. The other week we got a few numbers on the Euro lottery. I was checking the results with my son sitting next to be. Looked at the prize breakdown and he was looking at the amount of winners (over 1 million) and thought that's what we'd won. He started crying...haha
For the past 4 or 5 months, my Dad has been buying 6 x £2 scratch cards every weekend for the grandkids. Most weeks one person will win £2 but that's about it. The biggest win was £10 from one ticket. I would stop bothering if I was him.
A lad I used to work with checked his numbers for Saturday's draw on a Wednesday just to see if they had come out and matched 5 plus the bonus ball. It would have been over £100,000
I got the first 4 numbers on the first lottery. I thought for a second or so I was on my way to a fortune.
It wasn't to be But the £67 was better than nothing. I'd go for anonymity too..
The general consensus was to blow the lot on one week when there was a rollover.
It took ages to check all the lines and see that we had not won a penny.
