I like having something to do during the day, I get bored at home.
I think the job that I do does make a small difference so that makes me happy.
I like the routine (sort of), I get a bit anxious if I don't have a bit of structure in my life.
I like the soup they do downstairs at lunchtime!

I like going home at the end of the day.
I like when my boss tries to be clever and ends up making a complete prat of herself.
I like finding loopholes in the rules and slipping through them (and then watching my boss trying to be clever about it and ending up making a complete prat of herself).
I like it when a week goes by without my employers declaring that they're about to downgrade my post/cut my hours/make me redundant because senior managers need to keep their jobs at all costs.
Oh yes ... full of joy, working.

The grass is not always greener on the other side!
I have done what a lot of people would dream of doing, left a relatively secure office job with reasonable pay and nice hours to set up a business with my partner. Luckily it worked and we can now afford to employ area managers/managers to run the day to day stuff, leaving me to be able to go back to do the office jobs of the business from home.
Whilst being your own boss and setting your own hours is lovely, do I wish that I could get back to a more social enviroment? You bet! I miss the interaction between other people, not just gossip, but discussing any working issues as well. I am lucky that I can enjoy my own company but also I cannot let off steam with anyone else (but my cat!) or discuss what was on telly the night before! If you work in a team environment and enjoy your job, I think that once you get over the strangeness of being back and upset of leaving your baby, I am sure that you will enjoy the social side/interaction with other people once again. Also I bet your colleagues/friends at work are looking forward to having you back, they probably miss your company.
Best of luck, there is a lot to be said for working with other people!
