Google Calendar Sync license
1 Answers
I want to sync my Google calendar (personal) with my Outlook (provided by my work). Normally this would be done by installing Google Calendar Sync. My IT dept is saying that Google Calendar Sync isn't licensed for business use and they won't let me install it, but I'm not convinced. I know that my wife uses it on her work PC. I had a look at the licence and I can't see anything preventing it being used for business, but I'm not familiar with software licences. Can someone who is please give me a definitive answer?

That requires payment of $50 per user per year (which covers all of Google Apps for Business) because Google Calendar is only free for personal use.
