An art collector kept some valuable paintings in his flat. The flat had just one entrance door which was fitted with six locks. While he was away a burglar, who was skilled at picking locks, tried to open the door. However, although he could pick the the locks, he failed to get inside the flat. Why?
boxtops and bibblebub, this was my retort to the presenter, yet he was adamant that the burglar tried to unpick the unlocked door, I countered by explaining the original question stated the burglar unpicked all six locks. His retort, was that the burglar "COULD" unpick the locks not "DID" unpick the locks.
