Fake Tan

Right, this isnt a question I can ask down the pub, so will put it to you good people!
Is it ok for the modern man to slap a bit of fake tan on? I was bought mens "Fake Bake" for xmas but I havent used it yet. I already have a medium dark complextion but some days you do feel a bit pale and grey. I have a night out end of the month, do I give it a go?

Pinki - its the set, you get the scrub, shaving lotion and tan. Was a present off somebody who obviously thought I needed it! Thanks for the advice.
JoeLuke - no mate I am not a woman, like I said I am a bit of a lad when Im out with my mates, but I still like to look good, not in a vain way - that is why I feel better asking "strangers" than asking people down the pub!
Iused to date a girl who worked on a make up counter so I know there are lads that wear it and concealer and have things plucked and waxed so I dont feel any less masculine by slapping a bit on and see what the results are!

You only have my word to take for it, but I havent got that much of a feminine side. I appreciate women and that the two sexes are very different, but I also think of myself as a modern man, I work hard, play hard and look after my health, fitness and appearence etc... I dont know, chances are I may not bother through fear of looking orange, but I wondered what peoples opinion is on the matter and as stated above several times I couldnt bring it up with the lads, they would take the p*ss!
