Isn't Skype a wonderful thing?

My friend in Dubai has just 'skyped' me, for all it's 1am there nearly, then I am in constant contact with my nieces and nephews down South, all for no cost, it's brilliant!

It's great. It allowed my bf to see his grandparents, uncle and cousins in Australia on xmas day and as he misses them so much it was really special. I use it every now and then to talk to my brother in Leeds as they have a 5 month old so it gives me a chance to see all her giggles and new tricks.

It's a bit hit and miss Pinki. Sometimes it's fine and other times it's a bit useless. It's great when it does work.

yep it is pinki, I have had a few 'moments' with Dubai, where it gets a tad jerky

Don't forget you can use it like MSN also...I did earlier with the daughter in OZ.......

Don't forget though If your using Skype alot with the video option and you dont have unlimited broadband internet you will use alot of your downloading limit quite fast and may find your internet provider will then slow your internet right down until the next month when you get your download limit back,The video images you see of the other person use alot of your limit as there are like as if your downloading a film depending how long your sat there viewing it,Its like constant downloading large amounts of information espesialy when its a good quality video image your seeing. Even unlimited internet use a fair usage policy now and can slow you down if they find your using a great deal of downloading.
