My neighbor has applied for a court order to enter my property in order to complete the build of his garage, will this be granted?

I objected to the positioning of the garage during the planning stages as it was being built within 6" of our boundary wall, I was unsuccessful. My neighbor now needs to enter my property, remove a number of mature shrubs, bushes and fence panels in order to put on the render coat. He is seeking a court order to do this. Will I require legal representation to prevent his trespassing on my property?
