Sorry if this question has been asked before, but thinking of doing courier work in the near future. I will need a GPS system, which does not break the bank, and is suitable for use in a small van. Am I right in thinking that they work using a postcode or a landline number, and that you can get them for about £100?

Thanks for any replies as usual.

As several of your recent questions have been regarding getting a LGV license maybe you should be looking at LGV sat navs (the main difference is they include hight, weight and width restrictions)

Garmin 200nuvi about £70, it will do everything you need.
The nuvi works by postcode or full address.
I have a Garmin nuvi 200W, I'd recommend it to anyone.
Binatone A350 is cheap at Argos and has decent functionality - better than a my girlfriends Garmin Nuvi.
