i recently went for a bra measurment and my measurements were 38d in la senza and 36dd in marks and spencer, the lady measuring me noticed a bulge of fat in between my armpits and boobs, she said its to do with child birth, and not a good lOOk of course, but whatever bra i wear, it hurts, as it digs into the fat, the right bulge is worse that the left, and when i stand with my arms by my side i can see it coming out from between the armpits and boobs. what is this and is there a way to get rid, via excercise or surgery via nhs.thanks. PLEASE ANSWER THIS QUESTION SERIOUSLY IF YOU HAVE EXPERIENCED THE SAME THING OR ARE A DOCTOR. THANK U.

It sounds like an absess, my step father had one. Even a doctor probably couldn't help you online. I suggest you go and see one straight away :)

Its like a big bulge, but you can cup it in your hand like a third boob, couldd that be an absess, and ur a bloke...r u? how embarrasing :0
Yeah I'm a bloke but I'm on the way to studying medicine, If I'm unable to talk about a pair (or even 3 as you say) of breasts then I'm stuffed. An absess can be huge, my step fathers was under his armpit and it was the size of a orange.
I think (and I can't be completely sure...) that Ulrika Johnsson had a boob down job (fact) and as part of that procedure she had her 'armpit fat' removed too.. there is a word for it but I can't remember what it is... (had a quick google but came up with nowt.. sorry)
I also need to learn how to spell abscess :)
Found this for you.. apparently it's called Axilla-plasty....

The scars under my armpits - where I'd had a new procedure called Axilla-plasty - the removal of excess fat from above my breasts - were more visibe, but I knew they would fade with time.

Its called axillary fat pad and is possible to have removal if causing you problems.
I have the same, I got this when i first got pregnant, an my GP said it is all related
to the changes my body was going through, an refered it to as me havin an Xtra nipple, an it is still there after 4 lovely kids, breast, fed all of them, was actully told that
I cld feed from there, and did i "NO", you could have it removed, as i was told, hope that helps.
its an armtit
boom boom!
It's a lipoma....benign fatty tumour.
Question Author
benign fatty tumour sounds scary sqad, so if i go to my gp and show him, would he refer me to a specialist that could remove it....and is it cancerous, its worse on the right like i said before, would they remove both sides..thanks everyone for being so helpful and answering
Question Author
thanks sahida. my friend said the same and she said her sister had them removed but i want to gather some facts before i go to my gp, as he can be intimidating and neva lets me get a word in edgeways, so i want to be sure i get what i need out of this via the gp..
When sqad says benign, he means that its non cancerous (pardon me sqad)

marmy...thanks....I tend to take many things for granted.;-)

suzie...benign means NOT cancerous.

It could easily be removed by a specialist.
Go get it sorted - I've just had something similar removed and its for the best... Its a bit painful but make sure you have it removed in a way to be able to get some of the material tested to make sure its all ok...
