My hair is straight and coarse like horse hair; I've never used rollers / curlers. Do you hands hurt from keeping it up so long putting the curlers on?

Sal - 54 year old male married 2 kids 4 grandkids employed but low paid (but aren't we all) Some of my workmates do call me an old woman at times but they are a lot younger than me (and in some cases prettier!)

It was the rose that threw me - very pretty & feminine (and white roses are my favourite flowers). But now I realise it's the White Rose of Yorkshire.

4 grandkids at 54 - not bad. A very fertile family - good Yorkshire stock eh?!!
I am expecting my first grandchild this summer. I do have 2 step-granddaughters who are adorable.

Married at 18, Sal fiirst lad born 1976 second 1979 - grandkids 2 are 5 1 is 3 and the other is 16 months. And yes, good Yorkshire bull, good Welsh heiffer!!

I have a welsh boyfriend - not sure whether I'd describe him as a bull, wish I could describe him as a stallion.... but he puts up with me in me curlers !

Nope, she would kill me if she knew I described her as such. I just used my interpretation of the word 'stock' !I met her when she had just turned 17 and married her 3 months later - she's my soulmate. Strange thing is, my youngest lad met his mrs in the mid november and they came home to Wales at xmas that year to tell they were going to get married - like father like son. When we were last at his house, we both appeared one morning wearing identical polo shirts and he got upset and said to his wife 'f******g hell, i'm turning into my dad' !!

So long as I don't turn into my mum, I should be alright! I love my mum to bits, a sweet caring little lady, but I'm a dad's girl through & through. Good strong no-nonsense Lincolnshire stock!
