The similarities are very Jesusy.

A man wrongly accused (betraying the Jews)

Sent to prison/execution (The crucifix)

During/before/after save lives (Healing the blind etc)

Performs miracles (Loaves and fishes)

Lives on in man i.e Tom hanks/Mr Jangles??  (As if Christians live on in heaven and in the son of man)

I am not that much into the bible but I am sure there are more connections

Maybe that little bloke who is the bully is Pontias Pilate???
