I'm an ex-secondary teacher and whilst it is a bit cringey it is a very realistic, condensed version of what goes on in a large comprehensive. No wonder I left.

And before everyne starts getting het up - she's twenty-three with a baby so calm down!

I see that they're bringing in Tina O'Brien as a pupil - she may still look like a little girl lost, but isn't she about 27?

Yes, but give her very little make-up and put her hair in a pony and she'll pass for sixteen - no problem.
