Tips please forwashing windows.

We live on a ground flat in a new built house. The windows are never properly clean, my husband says they had a greasy film on them when the house was finished and we have never been able to get them clean. When the sun shines on them, the streaks would make you cry. He wont let me get a window cleaner in, he says he can do them - but he cant! Can anyone suggest a good cleaning product to make the glass shiny and sparkly?

I use white vinegar on my windows, works a treat!

I would wash them with hot water on a sponge with Fairy Liquid on, lots of bubbles, then wash off. Then use your vinegar and kitchen roll and wash off again.

Yes, I agree with all of the above, or you could try Mr Muscle window cleaner, all their products are the best on the market. Failing that you could use oven cleaner; your windows could not possibly be dirtier than an oven could they?
