When I was at school many years ago a girl in my class ran out the classroom when the bell went. She was wearing a ring on her third finger and the ring caught in the door striker on the door frame. It just pulled her finger off!

I had already left the room but the girl said afterwards that she just felt a tug, looked at her hand - and the finger was gone! There was very little blood apparently and she said she felt no pain! The teacher found her finger under a chair. The girl never bothered with any cosmetic surgery and she always had a gap there for the years I knew her after that. The school then banned all jewellery and running!

If K happens to be reading this then she probably recognises who she is!

That sounds awful Andy. Its weird that she felt no pain. I would probably have screamed the house down!
