I have just posted on this old thread

http://www.theanswerb...l/Question931266.html

I know some of you were interested in the outcome. Not sure if it is the outcome. Too angry at the moment to think forward.
Any legal help still appreciated. If I were to seek my own from now on it's £170+ per hour. So a few hours of that and I have the £650 to have the trees out anyway.
Suggestions? Legal ones!

I wish I could offer some advice....other than cut the trees down...INTO...your neighbours garden....then let THEM have them removed.
Should you shout 'timber!' beforehand?...that's up to you my dear. I know what I would(n't) do..............xx

Lol, already considered that one Pasta. I'd be sued then, and he would win. I could recommend a legal rep who is already on his side!
The weight of the trees is still on our side so any axe work would bring the flipping things down on our land. However, I did have a very sympathetic bunch of tree loppers call by just yesterday. Perhaps they could 'accidentally' mess up!
Get some travellers to do it...in the night
Oh dear. I know just what it is like. Have been down a similar (but worse) route!!

I would suggest that when you take the trees down you put up the permissible 6' solid fence in it's place on the boundary line ((a really tatty one) and paint it the brightest colour you can on your neighbours side!! And then plant a fast growing nice new hedge on your side which only you will have the pleasure of and they can't trim back!!
