Developing my Concept

I have this business idea that is rather unique. It involves using the internet and developing software that has no precedent or similarity with other software. So, since I have no other software to look at for help, how can I protect my new concept and still find a professional to help me develop my idea? In other words, how do I move my idea from a concept to an actual product without having my idea stolen? I don't have the expertise to develop it myself; I suspect it will take a team of people to make this.

I'll discuss all these issues with you happily but there's no reason for you to trust me. So, talk to me via email, I'll sign an NDA (non-disclosure agreement) and then we can discuss your idea without fear of my nicking it... mailme
Sir Alan Sugar gives out this sort of advice in his column in The News of the World on Sundays.
My dear Gazza, if you're referring to my response - I feel I'm qualified to do so since I provide technology consultancy to SMEs for a living.
