solo comb for horses

Have just taken my solo comb apart to sharpen the blades and the spring pinged out - I just can't see where it fits, its obvious where it should go but as my brain is not good on mechanical things so does anyone out there know, and could describe to me exactly how it fits please? Long shot I know, but there are people out there who know about these things! Thanks very much
