You do get all those festivals in the summer though, I have been a couple of times and extreamly good its been

I saw Don McLean at the Royal Albert Hall I can't share your enthusiasm i'm afraid.

I missed Deep Purple, Abba and somehow Led Zepplin. Genisis when Peter Gabriel was lead singer would of been good.
Pink Floyd - 'The Wall' - at Earls Court in 1980 (or was it 81).
Fantastic.

most natives leave town during festival Dave !.... I saw Don mclean in a small venue..NorwichTheatre Royal...as he only had acoustic guitar and one female backing singer perhaps smaller the better ?
I've seen Pink Floyd :-)

Stevie Wonder at Glaso last year was fantastic.

Madness at the Royal Albert were great as well...

saw madness at Finsbury Park some years ago....very good live...
Been lucky enough to have seen lots of great bands and couldn't pick one favourite.
Would have loved to have seen Led Zeppelin.
Often see Robert Plant out and about as he lives just down the road from here :-)
Favourite: Nirvana's last ever UK gig, headlining at '92 Reading Festival...

Wish: Queens of the Stone Age at a local small venue back in 2007. My sister was on the door and could have got me in free... so she told me after the event...
Would have loved to have seen Queen. The only concerts I have ever been to are Madonna at Wembley Stadium in 1990 and Kylie (can't remember where) in 1989. I'm not really a fan of going to concerts as I just find it too much hassle but Queen would have been good as I said.

I would sell my granny to see Aerosmith !
The Bayreuth Festival
my fave ever was probably Kings of Leon just before they released Aha Shake Heartbreak, back when they used to be a bit on the lively side and there was room to dance! Although I was blown away by Interpol the first time I saw them and the Hives put on an excellent show.... ahh so many to chose from! I'd love to see the Smashing Pumpkins!
I would have liked to have seen Queen because Freddie Mercury was such a showman. My favourites were The Rolling Stones at Twickenham, Eurythmics and George Michael. The worst were Robbie Williams and U2. U2 would have been alright if Bono hadn`t stopped the concert to do all his political cr@p. I didn`t pay £79 to hear him banging on about Africa.
