community service orders

my son has been given 100 hours community service he has booked a holiday in switzerland can he travel before he has completed all of the hours he has done 70 hours so far grateful for any advice

Not very clued up legally but would presume he would have to complete his community service first. Has he got any restrictions in place eg travelling abroad. He should ring the person that manages his CS.

I hope not,as if he can, what is the use of Community Service just to do it as it suits you!

My cousin got community service....he got out of it for the smallest of reasons.

Not just that...he'd turn up and they'd be no available staff to take them litter picking so they'd be sent home and the hours deducted regardless.
