Anyone know of a site where the author Lionel Schriver explains Why she wrote the novel We Need To Talk About Kevin...I repeat, Why she wrote it. Ta Muchly.

I hope you are keeping well. Still on the croaky side here but there is some improvement, much to the dismay of my children ha, ha!

There's a downloadable podcast on this page where she talks 'about' the book. I haven't listened to it, but it may give you the answer you need ...

Many Thanks Naz, I'll give it a listen.
I imagine most people write novels to try and earn a few quid.
I would imagine it was related to the Columbine massacre that happened a few years before and was still well in the public conciousness.

Michael Moore's film "Bowling for Columbine" came out the year before "We need to talk about Kevin"
