When we first got our dog from a puppy i only worked part time, then i had to start working full time unfortunately.  i felt that this was to unfair so we gave her to my mothering law, but every time i go there she goes really mental with me she wont leave me alone.  i feel so guilty and miss her so much.  i would love to have her back she is now 2 years old, i have thought if i bring her home and we put a kennel in the garden so she has the run during the day while im at work would this be ok if she is not used to being out there.

No, you shouldn't leave her alone in your garden, especially when she isn't used to being there. Someone could steal her, she'd probably bark all day and maybe injure herself by trying to escape. This would be very stressful if she isn't used to it.

God don't be so Snappy Snappy!! I would suggest visiting the dog regularly. Surely your mother in law would miss her if you took her back?
