It will welshy, along with everywhere else along the river. In the floods four years ago, the Gloucester and Sharpness canal was closed to boat movement and the locks in Gloucester docks and Sharpness docks were both opened and the canal became a giant sluice.

Morning all, Much milder in our corner of North Wales - very lucky compared to our Welsh neighbours further up the coast. The lead on our ridge tiles lifted in the high winds yesterday though. There's even some little birdies singing this morning even though it's not QUITE light yet. Have a happy day.

JJ - There will be lashings of food and drink too. Golf only takes up 4 houirs of the day! The weather looks pleasent enough 18degrees, some cloud, but mostly sun! Cant be worse than here anyway...
