You have had loads of sensible answers on the other thread
I will add on here that the executor of a will is PERSONALLY responsible in law for executing the testators wishes as written in the will. If the executor doesn't do this then he or she is PERSONALLY responsible for reimbursing legatees plus any expenses...does your stepmum know this?

Lots have people have answered since placing this one on here.
I don't think she knows what to do. But will not accept my help. She hasn't gone to a solicitor either.
