I have pressed something that has made all the text go huge. I did it before and someone told me how to get it back to normal. But I have forgotten what I did.

that happens on mine if i press fn + space bar, doing it again reverses it.

Go to the bottom right hand corner of the screen and there should be a magnifying glass with % figure on it. Press that and see what happens.

Press Contol and Minus

CTRL+ZERO will get it back to default.

if ankou's way doesn't work try Ctrl - (thats a minus)
