Got me thinking about male/femail job titles

For example a Sister female, Charge Nurse male (sister)

I now work in the Marine industry and a Captain is now called the Master so would a female be the Mistress?

There must be loads more AND it will lighten the mood

In the marine industry, captains have always been called Master because they are Master Mariners. Lady Captains are still called Master. (married to a Master Mariner) and spent many years at sea with him.
