Entitlement?
I'm a UK Citizen and facing an imminent return to UK. I have lived overseas for 14 years and supported myself in that time. Presently, Im unemployed and have no dependent family in UK. So no support now, quite isolated if returning. But I have tongue in my head, a good disposition and no criminal record. I'm concerned as UK's economy is in doldrums and I'd like to know where I stand with JSA. I guess I have not paid tax during that time and not been dependent on the state for any assistance. Though I only want to come back to work, as for where I don't know. I just don't want to come back and end up on the streets. I can choose anywhere to go but dislike London. I'm a Northerner originally. I wondered if anyone can advice me on the point with all the recent benefit shake-up that's supposedly going through with the Tory's new reign. Hmmmm, perplexed and concerned.
