The services councils provide are generally used by the poorest in society. How can old Etonian millionaires tell us we're all in it together when they won't be suffering?

Hardly the poorest who go to libraries, send their children to school, get their bins emptied, expect street lights at night and so on.
Totally idiotic, but brought about by Govt spending cuts. That's 7,000 less wage packets, money which would have been spent at Businesses all over Birmingham. Keeps the Economy going when people spend money. The less people in work the less money available in Taxes to the Govt as well.
All these job cuts are no Brainers !!
A mere drop in the ocean compared to the half billion forecast to lose their jobs overall. So that's only 493 thousand to go?
And the government is kicking the workshy of disability benefits to join the unemployment queue (no offence to genuine claimants).
Each government has tried to hide the true causes.

We are no longer a world force in manufacturing and even the service sector.
Other country now have ship building , steel production , coal mines ...even Tea is sent to Poland to be packed and shipped back.
So to create work , Labour created 1,000's of public sector jobs and the booming economy at the time and booming finance sector funded it.
Then the economy went pop and the Banks that were allowed to run riot and take huge risks ...and Gordon turned a blind eye ....CRASH

So Labour borrowed to fund the public sector costs ..and borrowed and borrowed...

So what's the solution ?

Simple get the FCUK out of Britain and if you have a profession move to a country where you will be valued , pay sensible taxes and get services in return. Unlike England where we seem to be taxed ...and taxed ...and then educate and heal any third world refugee who arrives asking for asylum ...
