Selling relgion...

Today I had the day off from work so rather than do something productive I decided to go into town and window shop etc etc, I was constantley bombarded by people handing me leaflets for 'Sunday Church' mostley gospel, I was like "No thanks" but even after that I was hounded by another person, it seems to be a trend now to get young people out of school or college and get them to sell christiantity on the street,

and on the other hand there was a guy with a megaphone selling Islam at a table showing pictures of the Iraq war saying "brothers this way"....
why do people sell religion...

I ignore them all, unless they are giving away free coffee & cakes, in which case they have my undivided attention for 3 minutes

It's eye contact isn't it? Make sure they do not make eye contact with you and you will be able to pass unharmed. This may mean you have to walk all through town looking at the ground but it might be worth it.

Haha I always say to them I know God personally and keep walking quickly away from them.
