psychologists don't prescribe.psychiatrists do, but would be referred through doctor. Counselling is supposed to allow you to come to your own decision when you are ready. Chatting to friends may be more helpful!
Maybe a visit to your gp in the first instance coccinelle and they could point you in the right direction. Or if it,s grief counselling, try cruse as they specialise in it.
Hope you find what you,re looking for, take care xxx
Thanks everyone. I haven't got a mental illness and don't need to be prescribed with anything, probably having a chat to a stranger could help. It's not grief eth (thanks for the kind words) but an issue I need to come to terms with concerning in-laws. Time is a good healer so I might just leave it to that for a while more.
i reckon you're right coccinelle, give it time. whatever it is that's troubling you regarding the in-laws will sort itself out one way or another, although never forget that you have right to feel whatever it is that you're feeling too.
take care of yourself my friend x
