Co Op Advert

Hi, Does anyone know who the guy is in the latest Co Op adverts, (The ones where he's talking directly to his wife to say he doesn't want to do the big shop anymore). He looks familiar, but I can't place him and it's driving me mad !!!!! Sorry if the question has been asked before, I've had a look but couldn't find it ! Many thanks

The wife is played by Sarah Preston and the narrator is John Hannah but there seems to be little information on who plays the husband.

No answer there then. I hate the other one where there is a man talking about going on holiday but wanting them to do the planning for him. I think he is terrible - a soppy wet drip, although I realise he is only playing a part.

The agency responsible for the campaign (TBWA\Manchester) isn't very forthcoming either.

This has been driving me mad as well, as I knew I'd seen him in a few things on TV. I think the guy is an actor called Simon Lenegan. I was just watching an old episode of Spooks and he was in it, playing a hitman. When I looked him up on imdb, he's also been in Corrie and Rosemary and Thyme. There wasn't a photo on there, but I googled him, and it certainly looks like him!
