They are going to represent Ireland in the Eurovision song contest.

Ireland has clearly decided that, since they can't afford to host the event in future, they had better try to make sure that they don't win.

Am I fortunate in being able to say I have never heard them? Were the others that bad? In spite of the (alleged) absolutely dreadful act they seem to have done very well for themselves and are probably laughing all the way to the bank as the saying goes. What a laugh it would be if they actually won!
