Hi Tig, yes I have decided to go with the first lady I saw. I spoke to one yesterday on the phone who was making too many demands so I thought - forget it.
The one I've chosen is cheaper and provides food and nappies at no extra cost and also doesn't have any other kids to look after apart from her own two. And she lives near to my parents so my dad can pick him up if I'm running late.
I'm glad you decided without being confused! If you couldnt get on over the phone I dont think the 2nd one would have been a very good idea lol. What was she 'demanding' by the way? I am very nosy and interested in how others work.
She was saying that she could only do 3 days a week as she was taking on another baby in September and wanted to know what days my dad was going to look after him which my dad doesn't know yet. And she needed to know by today. She is also more expensive and doesn't provide nappies etc.
I see! She was obviously prioritising the baby starting in Sep then. I must admit I dont provide nappies though, in fact very few childminders do near me.
Anyway I hope little tigs settles in well for you and you enjoy working again (as much as you can) Keep us posted on how you get on.X
Seems like it. The Spanish lady is still studying childminding but has all the requirements in order to be registered as one and she is a very nice person as well. The fussy one sounds too bossy and demanding for my liking. I hope I've made a good choice and I'll let you know how we get on.
I really am not looking forward to going back to work but needs must :o(((
