Electric motor heating
1 Answers
Why do motors have anti-condensation heaters? Don't say to stop condensation!! I think they only really need them in certain climates ( I think it's hot) but I can't remember the theory.

An example would be, during the night, the motor cools, in the day time, the air warms up more quickly than the more massive motor so moisture condenses in the motor. Of course a motor that is running will produce enough heat to make heaters unnecessary.
