off to the cinema

cold, damp day here so we're off to the cinema to see 'never let me go'. having read and throughly enjoyed the book when it first came out, i just hope the film lives up to it. anyone seen it after having read the book?? what did you think of it?

It doesn't appeal to me at all, but I hope you enjoy it, I'm trying to get to see True Grit but not quite getting it sorted! Might go on orange wedneday!

it was great dotty, i really enjoyed it. don't think himself was particularly keen although he did manage to stay awake. there were things i'd forgotten from the book too, very poignant.

Raises a lot of issues that are pertinent to the way that society is leaning these days; although I haven't seen the film yet so I hope that the deeper side of this doesn't get left out.
