Not sure what category to put this in!

Every now and then I see the results of a survey that say something like "The top five men women would like to be stuck in a lift with", or "Top five women men would like to share a curry with".Has anyone ever taken part in one of these stupid surveys, or do the British Curry Board (or whoever) just stick five celebrity names in a hat ?

I have often wondered about this!! I have never been asked but I have always presumed that a list is drawn up of celebrity names and people are asked to choose! So it's not really accurate - just lighthearted twaddle!!

It wouldn't bother me to discover those who are chosen (by some arcane, possibly diabolical process) are given a list of names and asked to put them in some sort of order, it just bothers me that the opinions of the women/men who do take part are presented as the views of all women/men.
