best valentine's day gift

what's the best gift you have ever been given for valentine's day? mine was an anonymous (?) amusing self-portrait drawing by an artist friend, given some years ago. unfortunately, imindoors gets unrational about it so I have to keep it in a folder.

Never received nor given one, it's a commercial rip off. Told my wife on our wedding day that I loved her, and if I ever changed my mind I'd let her know!

There is no such word as 'unrational', it should be 'irrational'. :)

I can't recall receiving any unusual Valentine gifts, just the usual chocolates, flowers and jewellery.

Not quite a valentine's gift as such, but my son's girlfriend's birthday is today and she is going to give me the precious gift of my first grandchild in July. That's love, and good enough for me...

Can't remember past Valentine pressies, so obviously not all that memorable! Today however I got a giant heart shaped cushion which Mini Boo is already eyeing, so i don't expect to have it for long.

one Valentines I was working and a bunch of 12 roses arrived....no card... a bit later I was called to reception single red rose, no name on card and a bit a third bunch of flowers this time a mix of roses, tulips and freesias arrived... my problem was ... who to thank It was a case of 3 from 4 possible suspects and I couldn't even say thanks for the flowers in case I said it to the one who didn't send them....

Turned out the mixed bunch was from my now ex husband.... never did work out the other two
