Does anyone know the new formula for calculating VAT at 20%?

to add 20% to net figure = ie £100+20% =£120
to deduct 20%from total = ie £ 120 divide by 6 =£100
simple

to add 20% vat to net figure eg =£100 + 20% = £120
to find vat figure on total eg= £120 divide by 6 = £100
net £100
vat £20
tot £120
