Yoghurt Cake ( especially slimmers)

8 Answers
150g natural fat free yoghurt
10 oz SR Flour
8 oz caster sugar
3 large eggs
0 tbsp sunflower oil

Put flour and sugar in a bowl
Add beaten eggs, yoghurt and oil

Put into 2lb loaf tin and bake @ 160 (fan oven) for 1 hour

Cut into 18 if possible. Down the middle lengthways and then in half slices. Each slice is 8 syns on Slimming World diet

Its yummie. Ive been told you can also use flavoured yogs as long as theyre low fat. Im going to try caramel or lemon next

18 slices out of a 2ib loaf tin....deffo a "why bother" cake.......sorry

It is a slimmers cake.!! Better than a bar of choc. If youre not a slimmer you can have as much as you like cos its still a nice moist cake

sorry, that should be 9 repeat 9. Stupid me. It would probably be a bit more slimming without it though wouldnt it but not as moist.

mmmm sounds ok but I can think of many more things of less syn value that are far nicer =)

Yes I would agree with you there Pink K but sometimes when you just fancy a piece of cake and you were to have some of this in your cake tin instead of bought cakes, surely it would be better.
I'm not sure it would be for me anyway TOH, sorry
There are some lovely cakes to be made that taste nicer and have less calories, fat free ones that are extremely moist and very yummy!
Think I'd rather have the yoghurt by itself lol
