how can I find out who is trying connect to my computer, using there I.P address number which I have got from my firewall software

you could try 'www.whois.co.uk' to see who the IP to see who has registered the IP address - however you probably won't get anything useful like a name or address.

whois won't usually lookup on IPs, but you can use RIPE to find out who owns the IP subnet in question. Also drop into a command prompt and 'tracert' to the IP address. When the address won't resolve, this usually will give a good idea of where it originates
