contesting intestacy
We engaged a firm of solicitors to act for us in above. It is now into the third year, with very little progress. The solicitor who had been dealing with the case, left the firm suddenly, and just made a quick phone call to us to say that he was gone.
We wrote to the senior partner of that firm,on two occasions, stating that we should have been notified in writing, of the solicitors departure. But he never even responded.
About a month later we had a letter from another solicitor in the firm, stating that they would be looking after our case. Thats about three months ago, and very little has happened since, and it seems that none of these solicitors are experienced in dealing with complex probate cases.
Should the Solicitors have accepted this case knowin that had no experience in dealing with such things.?.
