Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

The Guardian has one on Saturdays.
Don't know about the Independent though.

Several years ago I had a couple of prizes �100 and �200 from a My Weekly Puzzle book.
I've won a few things with Lovatts,a dictionary and Marks and Sparks vouchers.I think it's pot luck.I have been sending in the Telegraph cryptic on a Saturday for years and have never won anything!

Saturday's Indy has one of the UK's best crosswords - in the magazine. Have won the champagne several times...

I think there's also a regular cryptic in the main paper but I don't bother with those.

thanx shaneystar & quizmonkey.I think I'll drop the saturday telegraph and try the guardian and independent crosswords. The general knowledge crossword is quite hard and time consuming.

The guardian also has a monthly prize xword called the genius which is somewhat devilish. Its out first Monday in the month.

I have done the Observer for years and decided to purchase on line (either �25 or �30) and now get the Guardian & Observer 7 days a week - I do not need to buy the newspapers but do have to buy a stamp as it is not yet submittable online (they are working on it). I am still quids in. I have won the Observer twice, dictionaries or book tokens) the times once (book token) (but the devilishly hard club special (on-line only) �100 once. The Scotsman 4 times (gold cross pens)and Scotland on Sunday 3 times. (dictionaries or books) I keep winning dictionaries!
