I planted some bulbs in pots at the end of last year and they are now growing, does anyone know if these can be transplanted out into the garden now? Or should I have just planted the bulbs in the garden back before Christmas?

Thanks

Yes you can plant them out but be very careful not to disturb the roots too much. Bulbs are hardy, tough little things.
The only way you can plant them out in the garden and be sure they flower normally is that you take as much soil as you can around them and put them into a prepared hole ie wide and deep enough. Can't you let them flower in their pots and transfer them once they've flowered?
Plant the pot about 4"-6" deep and they will be ok, then about six weeks after they have flowered dig up pot and put bulbs back in ground to die off. Don`t tie them off, just leave to die back naturally.
Its normal practice to plant daffodil bulbs where you want them to grow/flower around October time the previous year happycat, but follow the others advise and you should be ok.
