Well I'm fairly southerly, but on a good day I can see the sun, yes.
Thanks for this - now I know why I overheard my neighbour talking about the aurora borealis earlier tonight.

I saw the northern lights down here in east anglia some years ago they were fabulous and every time we're promised another show there I am looking at a cloudy sky!
typical I'm off to Kiruna in Northern Sweden on Saturday and the northern lights come to the uk lol

It's too cloudy to see anything here, but I did see them once, about 20 years ago. Very pretty indeed :)

I live in Plymouth and last year saw a solar flare, would love to see the northern lights though. Fingers crossed.
