I've used it too. I'm in two minds - there's been times when I've genuinely thought it has worked, and others when it didn't appear to make a difference.
I'm with Squidgster on this one. I've used it when the first sign of a sore throat has appeared and been cold-free. Then I've used it and had really nasty symptoms for a fortnight. The jury's out!
I also agree. I bought my first bottle ages ago and it's not finished yet. I'd say 3/4 times that I've had a sore throat and that swimmy feeling and used it I didn't go on to get ill. The other 1/4 I did.
It's not very nice mind you and burns and trickles down the back of my throat.
I think it's most unpleasant and almost burns your nose! Also if I use it when I'm sniffly (sometimes the first sign of a cold for me) it makes me sneeze like mad! Not a fan I have to say!
I'm undecided! I usually get a feeling like I've snorted up water when I'm going to get a cold, I used the stuff, thought I was sniffing battery acid at first it stung and burned, I did get a cold, but it only lasted three days when it usually lasts a good week. I heard on radio 4 the other morning that scientists say a zinc supplement taken at the first onset of a cold can ward it off, but they're trying to come up with a dosage.....
