wanadoo broadband google problem

Since installing wanadoo broadband cannot reach google search - page cannot be displayed have followed advice clearing temp files have tried via other search engines no success please can anyone offer help Wanadoo and local man said probably spyware but search and destroy has made no difference

i have had this problem before and it was unresolved.the only way around it for me was to type this into browser bar - 66.102.9.104

it's the ip address of google and you should find it will allow you to reach their site.

if this is the case then you should phone wanadoo and tell them. it is their job to map the name servers to the i.p addresses.

thanks but I am afraid this did not work either. I didnn't mention some attempts have opened a Plesk Site does that ring any bells with anyone?

My son who has the problem has connected to wanadoo with his original dial up connection and had no problems opening google search. It appears then that all the advice about it being spyware is incorrect as presumably it would have blocked the site with the dial up. To us it proves it is the wanadoo broadband connection which is at fault and he will be contacting them again Will update the info when resolved in case of use to anyone else
