going to menorca soon

were visiting calan forcat in menorca soon. not been to menorca before.  is it any good ?  can anyone recommend places to visit, good restaurants ect ?

Hi, Went to Menorca last year, there are some fantastic beaches, 1 was cala turqueta, way down a road near Cituadela where you think it will never end, you go thru a gate down a long winding track to a car park and a superb beach, listen out for the fruit seller.Another is at Cala Bon Sou (Ithink thats how its spelt), park your car take the path along the headland on the left hand side, follow the coastline, its a bit of a hike, and you'll come to a beautiful secluded beach highly reccomend this one.

Mahon is well worth a trip too. And there is also a natural cave way out in the sticks that may interest you. The islands waterpark is ok but not a patch on some others we've been too. Hope this gives you some ideas. By the way shoes and leather goods are relatively inexpensive. Enjoy your break.
