anybody know how to get old masking tape off car paintwork? tape that has dried and gone hard ! I've tried ''bug & tar'' remover and soapy hot water, any help would be welcome.

I have used a heavy duty ink remover in the past and that worked I got it from B and Q

White spirit, dab it on, dab it on then remove, " Car Valeting for a No of years.

Have you tried T-Cut, it is a light cutting paste.
