Can anyone help with this poem, please?  I only have a vague recollection, as follows:

"There are fairies at the bottom of my garden,

They really aren't very hard to find" .........

HI  BARBARAFB    I found the poem  on google

and it by Alan Davis     type in who wrote - and you will see the poem I remember it . hope this helps

Thanks a million pega - found it - eventually.  It is really lovely.
I am pleased you found the poem it is nice I remember we used to have the flower fairy books  lots of art shops now sell a lot of nice  fairy stuff   I think this poem was   set to music its certainly been around for sometime

yes  the poem  In a pickle has wrote is the one I know and was by Rose Fyleman  1877-1957. 

It was set to music by Liza Lehmann   1862-1918.

we used  to sing it but not so well known now .

the page I found was a slightly different version and was Copyright  alan davies but the orginal poem was rose Fyleman,

I don't know the origin of the poem but I recall it went something like this

There are fairies at the bottom of the garden
They are not so very, very far away
You pass the gardener's shed
And you just keep straight ahead
i do so hope they've really come to stay.

Theres a fairy at the bottom of my garden. my fairys' name is 'Nuff' ..... Fairy Nuff .....
