am now down in the SW of the UK - was overseas for a long time....
Whereabouts? Have just gone through a divorce and was seriously thinking of moving to SW but in the Dorset area.Been talked out of it now by friends and family but am extremely jealous of anyone who lives there.
Question Author
Further down near Truro.....don't know why they talked you out of Dorrrrset....there is some lovely countryside and nice small accessible towns (other than Weymouth - which will be hell with the Olympics coming).
Question Author

Got you now.P Quarry people methinks. It all now falls into place.Have put feelers out for Ben Probert but no-one here (Staveley)who knows him up to now.One of my work colleagues used to go out with Fred many years ago.
Sorry to interrupt............but my g.g grandmother was born in Burneside (Turner) and my g.g.grandparents (Stewart) ended up in Warton......
Wow ! It gets better.I know people of both of those surnames. They are maybe not related to you but you never know
Question Author
think I remember the Turners......

looked at the Milne Moser web site but no sign of Michael there - will give them a call.

Tasty - don't know if you are located in the Mill Yard - I know David Brockbank as he was at school with me - and his parents had a hol cottage down here, just across the water from my sister. She ran into him a few years ago at the R. Cornwall YC....
I know David Brockbank by sight only.He flies around on here on his quad bike.I work further up the village near the weir.If you google North West Auctions there is a Michael Probert on there who works in Kendal but lives in Lancaster. He might be able to help you locate Ben.
