battery time on camera
5 Answers
Dad has a pretty standard 5mp cannon digital camera that takes 4 AA batteries.
It's a couple of years old now, but you'd expect the batteries to last more than a couple of days wouldn't you? I thought they were full when we left (not sure though) but we had to buy some new ones on monday morning and by tuesday afternoon they were empty (they were only kodak batteries).
Plus I only took about 100 pictures, and didn't have it on constantly. I'm sure the batteries should have lasted longer, what do you lot think?

My digital has it's own battery I charge in a separate charger and I go through that easily though I do take a lot of photos and use a lot of zoom and change settings. My first charger blew up and I killed one battery already for it. I usually carry a spare battery with me if I'm taking more than a few snaps. I need the battery power to upload them to my laptop as well.
I'd go for a good quality battery and keep some spares on you.
